I’m starting this with snippets of text already written, so the question is, how will those snippets contribute to the initial word count? The snippets themselves are from all over place in both episodes. I decided that for the sake of structure that I will start writing at the beginning (like today I did the teasers for both episodes) and try to write the episodes in a straightforward linear fashion, from beginning to end. I would keep the text that’s already written tucked away until it became relevant, then it would contribute to the daily word count on the day I actually work on the scene it comes from.
Trouble is, I’m not good at linear writing. I usually write whatever scene is currently on my mind. So we’ll see how I do with this plan.

I’ve been exhausted all day. Didn’t sleep good last night. Luckily, it was pay day, so I picked up my expensive sleeping meds this evening and will take one if necessary tomorrow at too-frakking-early-AM.
Yay! Words! The snippets don’t count until you use them. Just like you don’t count the words in an outline. Snippets often don’t fit, after all, so you deserve the points when you make them work. 🙂
