This review contains 95% less obnoxious Angel+Baby Connor squeeing than the last. I promise. But I just have to start the post by noting their relationship, because of course the episodes “Loyalty” and “Sleep Tight” mark the tragic turn of Season 3, when Angel loses his child in Holtz’s devastating act of eye-for-an-eye vengeance.
So, ahem:
So I was about to start a recap post of Season 3 AtS that I’m supposed to write for a Season 4 marathon I have coming up, when it occurred to me that I already *have* a Season 3 review obligation and who can do justice to Season 3 in one post anyway? So this is as good an excuse as any to finish my Season 3 AtS reviews.
Oy, I can’t believe my last review was in November, and now it’s March. But what can I say? I got busy. With fanfic. And it’s ironic that, when I got distracted for five months, the next episodes up for review were the first to feature my beloved Unholy Family. Darla shows up at Angel’s door with a “bun in the oven”, and Season 3 finally takes on its shape.

Warning: some actual whining, rants, and complaints in here. But then, I’m tired and it is my beloved season 3 we’re talkin’ ’bout here. They’re my own personal issues, and most of them are sooo of-the-past. Take them with a grain of salt.

– It’s Halloween weekend in San Francisco. Which means much zaniness. O.K. much more zaniness. I totally should have worn my Gentleman Devil horns to work today.
– Today’s the day of the grand opening of the Safeway across the street from my work. I know this sounds trivial, but we’ve been out here in the nuovo boondocks for a year without basic services.
– The ATPo virtual Angel: the Series Season 6 is premiering this Sunday at 9 p.m. Eastern/6 p.m. Pacific!
– And just in case there’s anyone on my flist who doesn’t already know, I’ve been guilty of committing fanfic since August. My post-NFA Connor spin-off virtual series can be found here:
