So I’m digging through the old VHS and come up with a dusty nugget from my youth:
David Bowie
Ryuichi Sakamoto
A Japanese prisoner-of-war camp in WWII
Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence
Just call it a “slash from the past.”

Bloody hell! i remember seeing that three or four times at the cinema when it was released. David Bowie has never looked more beautiful and the music was heart-breaking. :::is old:::
I loved that music. It was of course composed by Ryuichi Sakamoto himself. Just gorgeous stuff.
